Fountain Of Hope works around Buduburam, a refugee camp located 44 km (27 miles) west of Accra, Ghana. Opened in 1990, the camp was originally home to over 35,000 refugees from Liberia who fled their country during the two civil wars. The first was from 1989 to 1996 and the second 1999 to 2003.
